Godscent Drive POS

A point-of-sale, inventory and event operations system designed for a small business operating across warehouse and temporary market locations. It connects sales, stock movements, event inventory, payments, corrections, reporting and administration in one internal workspace.

Problem

Maintain reliable sales and inventory records across permanent and temporary locations, including markets where connectivity may be inconsistent.

Approach

A React interface connects to Spring Boot REST services and PostgreSQL. Offline storage and synchronisation are planned as a later implementation phase for market use.

A documented computer-vision workflow that fine-tunes YOLOv11-n for mango detection, compares controlled experiments, selects the final checkpoint using validation evidence and reports performance on a held-out test set.

A collaborative three-tier Jakarta EE operations system for authenticated account access, customer records, tablet and smartwatch inventory, and stock-aware order processing. My primary contribution focused on the Jakarta Faces presentation layer, authentication integration and interface redesign.

Practical software development built on technical experience.

I am completing a Master of Information Technology at CQUniversity, majoring in Software Design and Development with a minor in Artificial Intelligence.

Before moving into software development, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Maintenance Technology and worked in IT support and digital services. That background strengthened my troubleshooting, documentation and attention to reliability—skills I now apply to Java and Spring full-stack projects.

I now apply that background to full-stack projects involving REST APIs, relational databases, authentication, reporting and responsive interfaces. My primary stack is Java, Spring Boot, React and PostgreSQL, with additional project experience in enterprise Java and computer vision.
